News from the AGM on 24th June 2025
FairPlay winners in each age category were announced for 2024/2025 season, and awarded the FairPlay shield.
Clubs must complete team affiliation amendments or new additions by 21st July deadline. Any amendment requests to the Format of the divisions must be requested by 21/7/25
Rule 2c will change so that new clubs may apply where their home venue distance from Prestwood Sports and Social club is less than 25 mile route for land transport. Previously it was 15 miles as the crow flies. Under Standard Code of Rules for Youth football any new club can apply and can be heard at the AGM
Please ensure requests to the League’s Referee Coordinators specify Kick Off time, Venue and Age Group.
As part of a County FA initiative, a scheme to assign independent referees with no association with the home club, will be trialled in U16 Divisions 5 and 6. This will require about 10 independent referees per week.
Teamsheets:- Complaints about the opposition side failing to produce a teamsheet should be sent to the Age Group Rep via a Whatsapp direct message and not on a Whatsapp group.
Player transfers previously had to complete by midnight 1st March, this is now extended to midnight 31st March.
The League now requires home clubs to set all Kick Off times between 09:30 and 15:00. Previously KO could be set for later in the day. Cup Finals and Mid-week matches continue to have no latest KO time.
Previously each Club had one free postponement per season. This is increased to one free postponement in the first half of the season plus one one free postponement in the second half of the season. There is no carry over for these free postponements.
