Double Header fixtures

Due to bad weather earlier in the season there is a backlog of fixtures to be played. The League Committee has agreed to double headers being played, i.e. a pair of teams play two (2) separate matches in one day. There should be a reasonable break between each match. There is maximum number of minutes per day allowed in this Competition : –

  • In the under 12’s, two matches of 40 minutes each (20 minutes each half), total 80 minutes per day.
  • In the Under 13’s to Under 18’s two matches of 50 minutes each (25 minutes each half), total 100 minutes per day.

Once a double-header has been agreed between two teams, an e-mail to the Fixtures Secretary is required.

There should be two separate match result cards (one for each match). The match result cards should state that they are double headers and either number them 1 and 2 or A and B.

Each team submits only one FairPlay report, summarising behaviour or incidents during the whole of the double header fixture.
