Risborough U13’s win on Penalties

Thame played host to a great Challenge Cup final for the U13’s on Sunday 28th April.

Risborough 4-4 Beaconsfield Town (4-2 Pens)

Beaconsfield opened the scoring with a stunning finish from 30 yards out to make it 1-0. Risborough then found their feet and went into a 3-1 at half time.

The second half saw Risborough extend their lead but Beaconsfield fought back well and managed to grab 3 more goals to force a penalty shoot out. The Risborough keeper saved the first and the Beaconsfield second sailed over leaving Risborough in command and they eventually ran out 4-2 winners on penalites.
